Originally made famous by Peter Mayle in his book “A Year in Provence”, Menerbes is 17km from the A7 autoroute between Marseille (96km) and Avignon (34km). Major tourist and market areas in the area are Gordes (12km); Lacoste (6km); Bonnieux (10km); Roussillon (10km); L’Isle sur la Sorgue (22km) and St Remy-de-Provence (35km). The nearest airports are Marseille and Avignon, as well as a TGV station in nearby Avignon.
